Chef Camp attendees will first join farmer Ken Smith for a tour of his dairy farm, Cool Lawn Farm.  Ken is a fourth generation dairy farmer raising prize-winning Registered Holstein Cows near Remington, Virginia.  After a visit to the farm, our group will travel two miles to Moo Thru, the Smith family’s roadside ice cream stand for a tasting and to discover how using fresh milk from grass-fed cows makes all the difference in flavor and quality of the ice cream.

After the dairy tour, chefs will make a stop at Ducard Vineyards, a boutique winery located in the Eastern edge of the Shenandoah National Park, for a tour and tasting.

Graves Mountain Lodge will be the final stop for our Chef Camp experience, where we will enjoy a collaborative dinner and some rest and relaxation.  Graves Mountain Lodge offers a mountain view property with hiking trails, optional horseback riding and fishing options which guests can enjoy before check-out at noon.
